Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Artemis, a web application available at matchwithartemis.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, completing a survey, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use Artemis

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, whether as a survey creator or as a respondent. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

Artemis is operated by B Projects International AB (Org.nr 559454-0170), a company registered in Sweden ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company"). Artemis lets registered users ("Creators") build custom screening surveys, share a single link or QR code to those surveys, and receive submissions from people who complete them ("Respondents," referred to as "Catches" within the Service). Each completed survey is scored against thresholds the Creator sets and sorted into a result tier. The Service provides the tooling only; it does not introduce, vet, or guarantee any person, match, or outcome. Artemis is under active development, including during the beta, and we may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts

To create surveys you must register an account with your name, email address, password, and certain profile details. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not share your account or create an account for anyone else.

4. Creator content and responsibilities

Creators are solely responsible for the surveys, questions, answer options, intro text, images, and any other content they create ("Creator Content"), and for how they use the responses they receive. You agree not to use the Service to:

You retain ownership of your Creator Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display it solely to operate and provide the Service.

5. Respondents

Respondents do not create an account. By completing a survey, a Respondent submits the information requested (which may include name, phone number, country, height, birthdate, an optional social media handle, and answers to the Creator's questions) and understands that this information, together with the computed result, is shared with the Creator who owns that survey. Respondents should only provide information they are comfortable sharing with that Creator.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, interfering with its normal operation, circumventing rate limits or bot protection, scraping data, or submitting automated or fraudulent responses. You further agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying scoring logic, or algorithms of the Service.

You agree not to include false or defamatory statements about any real, identifiable person within your survey content, including in your intro text, questions, or answer options.

You agree not to write survey questions or answer options designed to screen respondents based on race, religion, national origin, disability, or other protected characteristics unrelated to personal compatibility.

7. Plans, payments, and limits

The Service includes a free tier with usage limits. Beyond those limits, continued use may require a paid subscription or a one-time top-up, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices and limits are described at the point of purchase and may change with notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchases.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any result, score, or tier is accurate or suitable for any purpose. Artemis is not a background-check, identity-verification, or personal-safety service, and you must not rely on it as one. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions when meeting or communicating with anyone.

Interactions with other users. You acknowledge that the Service may result in you communicating or meeting with other users. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Artemis, B Projects International AB, and its operators from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your interactions with any other user of the Service, whether online or in person, including but not limited to any harm, loss, or dispute arising from a meeting arranged through the Service. Artemis does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or age verification beyond the self-reported information a user provides, and you should exercise the same caution you would with anyone else you meet through any other means.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artemis and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artemis and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your Creator Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

12. Dispute resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at hello@matchwithartemis.com. If not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue the dispute exclusively before the courts of Sweden, and you waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action against us.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, and code that make up the Service (including but not limited to the question bank content, the themed terminology used throughout Artemis (including "The Hunt", "Bullseye", "On the Trail", "Missed the Mark", "The Arrow", "The Hunting Ground", and "Red Stag"), all logos, and the "Artemis" and "Match with Artemis" names and visual identity) are the exclusive property of the operator of the Service and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any of this material, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

Creators retain ownership of the custom survey questions and answer options they write themselves, as described in Section 4. By creating that content, Creators grant us a license to store, display, and process it as needed to operate and provide the Service. If a question or answer option a Creator writes is added to Artemis's shared pre-made question bank for use by other Creators, the Creator grants us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to include, display, and make that content available to other Creators as part of the Service, without further compensation or attribution to the Creator.

Answers and information submitted by Respondents are handled and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service, are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Subject to Section 12 (Dispute resolution), you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer resident in another EU/EEA member state, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to under the law of your country of residence.

17. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Artemis regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Section headings are for convenience only.
