Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how B Projects International AB (Org.nr 559454-0170), operating as Match with Artemis ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our web application at matchwithartemis.com (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the information described below. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Creator account information. When you register as a survey creator, we collect your first and last name, email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider), and birthdate. During signup we also ask how you heard about us and why you are using the Service, for product and marketing purposes.
Respondent information.When you complete a survey as a respondent, we collect the information the survey requests, which may include your first and last name, phone number, country, height, birthdate, an optional social media handle, and your answers to the creator's questions. From those answers we compute a total score and a result tier.
Special category information.Some survey creators may include questions touching on topics such as religion, political views, or relationship and lifestyle preferences that could reveal information about your sex life or sexual orientation. This is special category data under GDPR and similar laws. Surveys on the Service are intended as a lighthearted, entertainment-oriented way for a creator to get to know someone, and completing one is entirely voluntary — no one is required to take any survey. By choosing to complete a survey, including any such question within it, you give your explicit consent to our processing of that information as described in this Policy. If you come across a survey or question you're not comfortable with, you can simply stop, or report it to us at hello@matchwithartemis.com.
Automatically collected information. We log product and behavioral events (such as account creation and survey submissions) to operate and improve the Service. When you create an account, we also record the approximate country you signed up from, derived from your IP address. Our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may process technical signals, including your IP address, to verify that a request comes from a human.
2. Legal basis for processing
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract necessity— to create your account, operate the survey/scoring functionality, and deliver the Service you've asked for.
- Consent — for special category data (see above), for optional marketing communications, and for cookies that are not strictly necessary.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service against fraud and abuse, to maintain basic product analytics, and to improve features, balanced against your rights and interests.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- To create and authenticate accounts and keep them secure;
- To deliver survey responses and results to the relevant creator;
- To process payments and manage subscriptions and usage limits;
- To send transactional emails (such as notifications and confirmations);
- To analyze usage and improve features; and
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and automated submissions.
Your communication choices. We send transactional emails needed to run the Service, such as account confirmations, password resets, and response notifications. If we ever send optional or promotional emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe. You cannot opt out of essential transactional messages while you have an account.
4. Automated scoring and decisions
The Service automatically calculates a numeric score from a respondent's answers and sorts the submission into a result tier ("Missed the Mark," "On the Trail," or "Bullseye"), using the point values and thresholds that the survey's creator sets. This scoring is performed entirely by our system, without human review, and the score and tier are shared with that creator.
This is a form of automated decision-making. The result reflects only how your answers line up with the creator's chosen criteria — it is not a background check, an identity check, or a judgment about your character, and creators are responsible for their own decisions about whether to reach out. Because this process is automated and can affect whether a creator contacts you, you have the right to:
- request an explanation of the logic involved (in general terms — the specific point values and thresholds are the creator's own settings, not something we disclose on their behalf);
- contest the result; and
- request that a human review your case, by contacting us at hello@matchwithartemis.com.
We do not use automated decision-making to make any legal or similarly significant decision about you beyond sorting your survey result into a tier for the creator's reference.
5. How we share information
With survey creators. Information you submit as a respondent (including your contact details, answers, and computed result) is shared with the creator who owns that survey. We do not control how creators use this information; you should only provide what you are comfortable sharing with them.
With service providers. We share information with providers that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
- Stripe — payment processing (we do not store full card numbers);
- Resend — email delivery; and
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot and abuse protection.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Artemis, our users, or others. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or read device signals to perform its bot checks. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Data retention
- Creator accounts: retained for as long as your account is active, and deleted immediately upon account deletion (see Section 10), except where we must keep certain records longer for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Respondent information: retained for as long as the associated survey exists, and deleted immediately if you delete your own submission (Section 10) or if the survey or account it belongs to is deleted.
- Event/analytics logs: retained in aggregated or de-identified form for product analytics; identifiable entries are retained no longer than 24 months.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including access controls and database row-level security, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@matchwithartemis.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As noted above, we do not sell your personal information.
10. Account and data deletion
Creators can permanently delete their account directly from within the app, in Account Settings. Deleting your account also immediately deletes the surveys you created and the respondent data tied to them.
Respondents do not have an account, but can remove their own submission at any time at matchwithartemis.com/delete-response, using the phone number and birthday they submitted with. You can also contact the creator of the relevant survey, or us directly at hello@matchwithartemis.com, to request removal.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified under it), or another lawful transfer mechanism, as applicable to that provider.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
14. Contact
